finally in florida!

in Opelausus LA this morn. 15 minutes outside and i feel like i need another shower...BUT i am wearing shorts and flip flops and very comfortable. so, i wont complain much. no words of wisdom from mr barlow this am. New Orleans is our destination for today. 2 hrs down the road, we are being detoured around a gas line fire on I10. seems a little overboard to close the whole stretch but thats the case. vodoo candels for everyone today! and beyea's...(i know that is spelled wrong)

in Moab

Uneventful day of driving, but made it to Moab about 1:30. Saw a coyote dart across the road near Price... probably in pursuit of a roadrunner. Went into Arches and hiked out to Delicate arch, and then went to the fiery furnace. Was really a nice day out. 60's. Moab Brewery for dinner. The diner is closed on Sundays. So far the trip has been fun. 396 miles down 1,730 to go.

Big Move

Road trip to Florida commences on Nov 23rd. I'm excited to see the place I've heard so much about, but a little apprehensive about what happens after that. Sure to pile up some frequent flyer miles though.
